Mental Health Services

Mental health screenings are conducted with all residents within 24 hours of arrival. Results are used to help establish treatment objectives or provide for special services and further assessment as warranted. Health & Safety Plans, risk assessment and personal safety/safety of others is paramount.

We utilize a consulting psychologist and psychiatrist who work together with direct care staff to ensure a best practice approach and continuity of care. The psychiatrist is responsible for medication management for the youngsters who are on psychotropic medications.

Full scale psychological and psychiatric evaluations may be performed as needed.
